[RC] 20 Mule Team 100 Winner - Congratulations Michele Roush Shaw, DVM - Richard Theodore

In response to the inquiry regarding the 20 Mule Team results this past
weekend, I emailed Michele Roush Shaw, DVM who was riding the 100.  With all
the concerns voiced on Ridecamp the past few days this is refreshing.

She thought you were in 1st place in the 100.  Were you?  How did it go?

I was in the 100, and my horse won not only first place, but BC, as well.
Better yet, he looked like a million bucks afterwards, had a CRI of 48/48 at
his post ride check, and Dr. Susan McCartney's comment was that he looked
like a
pre ride exam!

I only know two placements in the 65 miler.  1st was Leisa Belser and 6th
was Linda Dollar.  Mary Darlene was crewing for Linda. Congratulations to
them also.

If you want to pick Michele's brain on how she was able to get herself and
her horse through a 100 miler in such great condition, Michele will be a
speaker at the CSHA (California State Horsemen's Association) Endurance
Clinic on April 12th in Chowchilla, CA.  I am the CSHA State Endurance
