[RC] OLD questions.............(sorry!) - FASTGraphicI know, I know. These questions have been discussed and debated and argued and otherwise thrashed about since the beginning of this forum, but PLEASE bear with me. We have a boarder! :o) Here out back of our burnt-out house, the horses are doing well and we took in a boarder. Not being "in on the endurance thing" and being in California, she is used to having her horse on a steady Alfalfa diet. We feed three-way and grass hay and supplement with a nice soaked beet pulp mush and Select II vitamins. Now, we have been trained to do this (thanks Trail-Rite) but, other than trusting the hell outta Tammy, we don't really know why! LOL If one of you folks would not mind taking the time to put in writing all the benefits of this and the problems with alfalfa, I would REALLY appreciate it. Then maybe I can explain this all to our new boarder with some semblance of knowing why we do what we do here! Thanks!
