Re: [RC] ] waterproof clothing - CharlesYou might want to look at www.plastex.com www.ppprainwear.com (I think they are the same company). I got several nice rainsuits from them, and they cover all sorts of sizes (I have an 8x that is too big for me, and anyone who knows me, knows I'm pretty big). They also have a slicker made for riding. Charles PS: I thought they were cheap. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rides 2 Far" <rides2far@xxxxxxxx> To: <a.yovich@xxxxxxxxx> Cc: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, February 15, 2003 7:49 PM Subject: [RC] ] waterproof clothing I'm looking to invest in some waterproof clothes to wear this spring >on > rides. Can you offer suggestions on where to buy/what to buy? I'm > interesting in bargains, but I don't want to be wet and cold. O.K. I'm dirt poor so I'll tell ya what I use. I have the basic polyurethane rain suit that I got at our Army surplus store for under $20. (I think) I like a hood big enough to go *over* the helmet. If not the water will run down your helmet and into your collar. Make sure it snaps not zipper only so you can open the bottom wider while riding. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
