[RC] Older horses/small horses - Rides 2 FarCheck the standings for the Southeast this year. The top horse in points overall, who had at least 2 BC's that I know of was Vali Hi Fayzera ridden by Debra Ivey (Yes Tom that's the former Debra Morrissette who beat you in the cartwheel contest). That mare has been retired for a few years while Debi did other things. She brought her back at age TWENTY-TWO. She's won tons of awards in the past and has lots of miles. I'm guessing she weighs 750 lbs. tops, 14.2 and travels lean. I rode with her at Kentucky Horse Park. She swore this had to be her last year but looking at the standings (and knowing from being there that he mare looked great) I can't help but think, why retire?"
