Re: [RC] RE- senior horse feed - Bette LamoreHi MerrybenThe only problem I have with Purina's Senior Equine is that it is sooo full of molasses. I have a tough time believing that so much sugar is good for my old gelding. I found a feed mill that makes it's own older horse feed in Templeton and it has all the nutrition but not so much sugar. What do you think, susan--- is there a little too much "candy" in the Purina version? My 33 year old gelding likes it, but then he also has been know to eat my daughter's hamburger, too ;-) Bette Merryben@xxxxxxx wrote: I had some ride vets tell me a few years ago that Equine Senior was the only thing Purina had ever done right.....mb -- Bette Lamore Whispering Oaks Arabians Home of 16.2h TLA Halynov who lives on through his legacy Hal's Riverdance! http://www.arabiansporthorse.com Always remember: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
