Re: [RC] Gainey Arabians - Zephyr Arabians--- Jeannie Gillen <jeanniegillen@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: What is a "Gainey Arabian"..??? It was the horses bred by Gainey Fountainhead Arabians. The Gainey program was based on the crossing of the two stallions Azraff & Ferzon on each other's daughters. The Gainey type was very fixed, and these horses can "look Gainey" generations down the line. Today, Gainey Arabians still exists, but they use different bloodlines (the owner is a grandchild of the original owner). There are breeders (usually on a small scale) who continue to breed the Azraff/Ferson or "Gainey" Arabian. I'm one of them. :) ~Nicole ===== * Zephyr Arabians & KattWmn Web Design * * http://www.zephyrarabians.com * * http://www.kattwmn.com * * From the "Horse Capital of the USA" Norco, CA * * * * You have the right to remain silent, anything * * you say can be misquoted and used against you. * __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
