Karen: Sounds to me like you have what the old boys called a singlefooter - a 
highly valued trait among the early cowboys because it's so comfortable. 
There's 
the odd quarter horse that will show the trait and I don't doubt that it's a 
recessive trait from the TB or Arab bloodlines. Sounds like a keeper, to me...
