Re: [RC] overnight boarding in Woodside, CA - Sullivan

Probably does not start taking bookings until sometime in April.  Most of the trails are closed in rainy weather, leaving some of the fire roads to ride on.  Also....don't just show up!  Many weekends and weeks are booked a year in advance.  I called in July last year, missed the week I wanted, and was able to get the following week by calling at 8:00 on the dot.

And, it is well worth the booking a year ahead.  Two individual sites (up to 9 horses each), and one group site of about 40 horses.
It has hot showers with dressing rooms, extremely nice barbeque areas with big lighted outdoor hot water sink, wash racks for the horses, RV hookups and dump, and two refriferators for your food while you are there. Trails in the actual park of Pescadero Creek are shady and great footings....for those with more extensive mileage needs....you can ride all the way to Big Basin and ride some of the trails and roads used in the Swanton 100.

Jack Brooks Horse Camp out of Woodside is a GREAT place to camp and then ride trails.

Subject: [RC] overnight boarding in Woodside, CA

Hi,
I'm looking for overnight boarding in Woodside, CA or Emerald Hills area.  Grew up in that area and want to bring my horse and ride the great trails when I visit my parents.
Thanks,
Karen.
