Therefore, you can be certain the AERC did not get the best rate from the start. There are plenty of organizations that have group policies with different agents. Why didn't the AERC contact those organizations, get the name of the agents and ask them to bid? This whole thing is beginning to sound like someone trying to throw a bone - a very nice bone - to one of their "buddies" at our expense. This was done too fast and without proper regard to getting the best value for the ride managers.
