   We rode on the "other side of the mountain" in the Smokies on Sunday and
the snow was beautiful!   One of my favorite trails is Tremont.  In the
winter the park closes the 4 mile road to the trailhead to traffic, and you
ride from the bottom.  Along this gravel road is a beautiful river with
boulders and huge waterfalls.  Put that together with the snow stacked up on
the pines and it was georgous.  We think it's probably the prettiest trails
in the park.   I ride the Tremont trail a few times each week in the winter
and never get tired of the views.
