[RC] OT - Mad Cow Disease in WA State - rides2farAnd here I thought it was from the nearly 14 million people now on Atkins that was causing the price of beef to go up! <g> Oh great. That makes everything clear. I heard a guy on the radio say "Don't go on Atkins...everyone I know who does gets really weird acting. Now I understand...early stages of Mad Cow disease. Did a quick internet search on Mad Cow & Elk...since I'd heard something about that. Seems that killing off all the infected animals doesn't end it. They have to be incinerated or new animals get it. What fun. On the bright side.
