Re: [RC] earthquake - Lynn Kinsky
Once the New Madrid fault zone lets go again (http://quake.ualr.edu/public/nmfz.htm) (http://quake.wr.usgs.gov/prepare/factsheets/NewMadrid/), which the USGS says is certain in the next 50 years, midwestern and eastern buildings will be put to the test and municipalities that have been dragging their feet on new building codes and seismic retrofitting will be in the spotlight. I like our California wood and stucco buildings (earthquake and fire resistant)! --
