Hello Folks-
Passing this along and wondering whether anyone has checked this out or has further info. on the possibility of it becoming a reality..................



There is a new proposed Federal Program which affects all horse
breeders and owners - requiring that ALL equines will be tagged
regardless of their use.  Horses will need to comply by July 2006. 
Although this is geared towards the 'meat market' ALL horses will be
required to comply, even those considered pets.

Please take a moment to read about this new regulation and form your
own opinion.  You may make comments as you see fit to the person
listed below.

The deadline to make comments to the committee concerning this plan
is 12-31-03.
