Interesting that you should mention
this. I saw the picture, and although I did not recognize WHO the rider
was, I knew it wasn't Joan and Red River. As I recall the photo, that
horse was not the right color for Red River, who I believe is a dark bay.
I saw him once or twice on Swanton Pacific this year, but I seem to recall him
as a black bay or nearly so.
The rider, in the photo on
the upper left hand corner of page 32 in the Dec EN, identified as Joan
Zeleny on Indiana Red River is actually Gail Haught on Kings
Flash.
