I've never had a problem in a English saddle that is the correct size (
unless the horse decides to do the Texas Two Step on me), but I sure
had a problem with this when I was riding a "western style" endurance
saddle.
I've found the long lycra "underwear" (you've all seen them if you
watch any basketball, that's what is under their trunks) does the trick
for me - plus it gives support to the muscles of the upper leg - which
is why they are worn by basketball players.
Get a different saddle. My old saddle was a problem, however. Mine works
just fine and I have no problems unless the vermin decides to do the
"Texas Two Step" on the trail depositing me on the pomel.
I suspect that a lot of the difference between men is that (like women) no
two are conformed quite alike... Hubby somehow never bangs "the boys"
when he rides, but he sure gets raw spots on his seat bones! (He is still
considering getting "homeys" though...)
