He's also continuing his rudely offensive tactic of claiming that anyone who does not support HIS pet "solutions" doesn't give a shit about horse welfare. Can anyone imagine him as a "mentor" for a new rider? Before we go making new rules to force new riders to ride a certain way, perhaps we should look and see if new riders are causing the equine fatalities? If they are not, then the proposed rules would do no good at all except to let some people feel that they are "doing something." So here's a good starting question: how many equine fatalities over the last ten years were to riders with fewer than 200 endurance miles completed? -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
