Re: [RC] favorite winter tights - sterpMy two cents since I did a lot of research before setting on these two brands. I sell lots of Toasties by Tropical Rider both knee patch and half seat. They are warm and fluffy with the polar fleece on the inside and wind resistant material on the outside. The sizing is generous so be aware of that when ordering. The new "hot" item I got this year is Windpro by irideon (toklat) this tight is water proof, has fleece on the inside but is not as fluffy as tropical riders. I stock these in knee patch only although other options are available. They also make a matching waterproof jacket! Sizing is more standard and I am not sure how long the waterproofing lasts since this is my first season selling them although I am sure they could be retreated as needed in the washer with Nikwax. They are very comfortable just not as stretchy as the Toasties. Both tights come in any color you want so long as you want black. irideon jackets are black with a little color on the sides (limited selection).
My personal choice. I have both! Toasties for cold but not wet and irideon for wet weather days.
