[RC] Hay and EPM - Larry Millerabout 10 years ago my horse Bay got EPM. Whether it was from the grass, grain, or hay, I will never know. But it was somewhere that an opposum could get to. I don't think it matters what feed source it came from. Can't give you any advice about how to buy hay or anything else for that matter. If a horse is going to get EPM, it is going to get it. I do know that our barn is closed at night to keep the wild animals out. Bay did recover, went on to get his 2000 miles mark in MI. He was never 100% but at 21 he still gives me the best ride in the barn.
