Re: [RC] [Guest] Wintec Isabelle Dressage Saddles for - Ridecamp ModeratorVicki Austin <kingston04281@xxxxxxxxx> Christina, alot of people have good luck with the "regular"treed saddles. I my self had good luck with three horses on Long distance with dressage and all purpose saddles. The horse I have now was a bear to fit. His back seems normal enough but every single saddle I got over the first two years made a boo boo somewhere on his back. I even sent one away and had it proffesionally stuffed to template and spent a lot of money on it. After about 50 miles it made a boo boo. I tried six saddles in the first two years. All were ok in the ring, over jumps and on "short" rides of 25 - 50 miles but after that or if I rode in them for consecutive days boo boo would apper. I finally got a Sport Saddle (hated the looks) hated the feel at first BUT that was five years ago and he has yet to have any sort of boo boo, sore back or anything. I use just the wool pads under with no special air, jell, polymer, weave or anything else. I would still use my dressage saddle for showing but that is all. I now find out that a lot of people cannot use the treeless saddles on their horses so......................it is so individual. You just have to try it to see is all you can do. Good luck. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
