[RC] foot in mouth, again - Cindy Collins

It has been brought to my attention that a comment I made earlier last
week left some people thinking that I was putting down the entire MT. time
zone PAC team because I questioned the selection process and the quality
of rides being used as "championship" and "FEI" trails.  Let me say, very
sincerely, that I am very proud of the MT. team and my comments were NOT
meant to disparage any horse/rider team who participated.  Also, their
vet, the infamous Duck, is one of my favorite people in this sport and
without a doubt, someone I trust with my horse's welfare above all others.
My "beef" is with the whole FEI process of selection and with the speed
and terrain involved in so many FEI rides.  The number of horses put in
jeopardy at this year's event speaks for itself and has been the cause of
so much discussion on this forum.  So, please know that it is the big
picture I'm disturbed by, not the individual MT. time zone horse/rider
