[RC] Good news for fire victim - beth gloverHi ridecampers; Thanks for all your wonderful emails. What a great bunch of people you are. My friend Lisa has had very good news, a complete change of heart from the homeowners Association. She told me that she went to the meeting and was just scared to death about it, and they were being pretty hard nosed at first. Then there were some private conversations, after they noticed the newspaper reporter there at the meeting, and I guess there was a Television reporter sitting there too. They changed their mind in just a few minutes. The link to the newspaper article follows. We are going to work on the property this weekend. Deanna mentioned a building fund at a hardware store, as was done for victims of a tornado. When I go down to see her, I will see if there is such a fund set up for horseowners in her area. Maybe I can get the name of the feed store..there is a very nice feed store on the way to her house, I bought some chickens there one time. I will keep you all posted. I am hoping we can set up some sort of shed for her fee d storage, cause I know how it is to try to keep hay and feed without a shed, and then it rains, and its a mess. Lots of wasted feed and mold. I'll bring her a tarp with the hay, but hopefully she can get the shed rebuilt ASAP. Thanks again, and here is the link.
