So unless you are doing CTR, which does not allow anything above the cornonet band, you might try Old Macs, at least for your conditiioning rides. I've got a few hundred miles on mine. You must have the correct size for good results, however. I also have some "Horse Mocs" (do a subject search) made by Debbie Nelson, and they are doing quite well too. I don't think they will stand up to a lot of tough miles, but I carry them in my cantle bag for quick on/off use in stretches of rocky areas.
