[RC] Re:breeding/slaughter - CMNewell


Backyard breeder: Unlicensed general public who breed for the fun of having a baby (In the past two years, I have personally known three people just in my area, who have bred or are planning to breed their mare just for the experience of having a baby.


And I personally know a number of fine horses who were produced by "backyard breeders" for the sheer joy of it.
Ther weren't out to produce a commodity for sale; they spent years, in some cases researching bloodlines and planning matings.
Hell *I* breed for the joy of it. It sure isn't a commercial enterprise here, though I have sold foals and have bred outside mares.

But I'll fight your licensing plans to my last breath.

Go after those who mistreat and abuse, if you must have a target.
