[RC] RE:Blanketing Question-another round - A. PerezI don't think you should blanket on a regular basis. If your horse gets very sweaty when worked, give him a good towelling down after riding and get a good wool or polar fleece cooler and put it on him for an hour (while he's or walked out, if possible) after working. He does not need to be bone-dry when turned out, just not wet to the skin. If you really have problems with him coolong out, you could trim the worst areas (under the neck, etc) to aid in cooling. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
