Re: [RC] re: RP pads - Lynne GlazerHi, Cindy,Steph did the mods on her Supracor pad, I'm also curious about what the edges look like. Do you have a spare pad set or two? I would hate to have only one set. Two seems to be minimum, I wait to wash them until both are dirty. Some people we know don't wash their pads until they get crusty! We won't name names, LOL. I wash mine in my only washer which is in dubious shape anyway, and haven't noticed horse hair (or cat hair) in my undies...maybe it's because I use the presoak cycle (and don't use either of the "wash cycles", either normal or delicate? I never tried an underpad with my mare or gelding, though with other saddles my mare could walk a pad right out from underneath towards the neck, due to loin pressure. The standard pads seemed to work fine for her and she went on to do another 600ish miles before I made her get pregnant (anyone looking for a future HWT's mount, due in April? Arab x Lippizan, now that should be some fun at the start!) regards, Lynne On Nov 11, 2003, at 1:02 PM, Cindy Collins wrote: Just wanted to clarify that I have absolutely no problem with the pad that =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
