I'm really interested in this answer, too.  The pad is the only thing I
don't like about my RP. I feel like I have to remove the pads on the
panels every couple of times I ride and wash them.  They are very
expensive and wearing out fast.   I've tried a Dixie Midnight and one of
those great fleece pads and they both bunch up as the panels flex.  Any
new ideas?  What modification did Steph make on the Supercor?  I hate to
spend that kind of money and not have it work or cut it to pieces!  CC
