Re: [RC] "endurance friendly" jobs - Susan Young

I'm an Oklahoma school teacher.  I get all weekends and summers (well...June & July) off.  Also, I get off work at 4:00 which gives me a little time to ride before dark (except in the winter).

For the most part, I love my career.  If you can read this message, thank your teacher!

Hi all,
I'm curious (and kind of burned out at my current job). For those of
you that work, what kinds of jobs do you have that are "endurance
friendly', in that it allows you time to ride and condition, not to
mention have time off on the weekends to attend rides? Do a lot of you
work at home or have your own business? For those of you that have
horse related businesses (like all the places from which I buy my tack
and horse products), is it enough enough to pay your bills and allow
you to go to rides? Not trying to be too nosy, just looking at
alternate career choices. Realistically, I probably won't be able to
make any drastic moves, but I was wondering how everybody else does it.
Thanks!

Dede
