[RC] BLM adoptions at rides - A. PerezI can't speak to the issue of how many mustangs end up as useable horses and the overall effectiveness of the BLM mustang program, but I can say I vehemntly oppose raffling of animals of any kind. Prospective adopters should be carefully checked out before being handed a horse, especially an untraine one. As to Heidi's commenst about 'pie-in-the-sky', BLM would actually LOVE to shoot feral horses, but the public outcry forces them into the adoption program. What they should do is contract with existing non-profit adoption groups to train and adopt out mustangs, and coduct follow-up checks. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
