I reply that I'm a distance rider. I've ridden 1000 NATRC miles and some LD's and often had to 'endure' to earn those miles, but I am NOT an endurance rider till I get that first AERC 50 under my belt because the word ENDURANCE, in the distance riding world, is defined as "50 or more miles". It seems simple enough to me. I am looking SOO forward to the day that I can say 'yep, I'm an endurance rider', but if I end up riding LD forever and forever, I'll still be proud to be a 'distance rider'.
