What everyone is going through out there sounds just awfull!   It is wonderful that there are people like you to help.  I spent 2 1/2 yrs living in CA (Antelope Valley) and loved all the wonderful wildlands and great places to visit, but there is always the fire danger to worry about.  I'm almost glad that usually the worst thing (weather-wise) we have to worry about here in TX are tornados!  Our prayers are with all of you and I hope everyone and their animals are able to stay safe.
