well, there's been alot of dust on the trail (well there was b/f it blew 
over to Utah early this morning, which is ok because we got some 
replacement from oregon:)

160 miles down. look at:

for a current update. there are 16 riders (and 2 juniors:) still on pioneer 
running. There are 6 tuff suckers and 6 not so tuff suckers out there with 
100 miles to go. There are a few (6-7) mounts off a bit (pulled lame) and 
two metabolic pulls over the 3 days (Castle Creek and the Petroglyphs were 
undertaken on record days of high heat - a true challenge - lots of smart 
riders:)

Tomorrow is through Sinker Creek Canyon for most of the day. The flood of 6 
weeks ago took out most of the road down into the canyon. It will be a 
small miracle if we don't loose a rig down there....we'll see how sane all 
the crew guys are!!

Dinner is being served out back now. Everyone seems ok mostly. One of the 
showers is proving to be a surprise to a few. There a new glow-in-the-dark 
seat in one of the out houses which is yet to be commented upon.

the web cam was pointed to the vet area and then the sunset.

more when time allows (although things really are just getting rolling:)
