You obviously took me worng - see my first sentence and missed the
whole point - which was when we say it's all the riders fault ergo the
sport is peachie keen and there is no problem and sh** happens we are
treading on very thin ice in my opinion.
Personally I have a very difficult time with any sport where 1% of the
participants (who didn't choose to be there) die - which seems to be
the case at the high profile endurance rides.
has a responsibility to the horses involved > otherwise if
it doesn't live up to that responsibility is it any different from
other > sports where animals die - that are now illegal in most of the
US?
Oh good grief! *Mr. Prevatt*, you are sounding like a darned I don't know
what today. Take a breath, let a *whole* lot of air out. Go back to
normal size.
