[RC] [Guest] Trails update for Yellowhammer/Talladega(was HungryBuzzard) - Ridecamp Moderator

For those of you who were considering not attending the Yellowhammer this year because the trails last year were "too strenuous", and the parking was impossible, have heart and give it another try. The yellow loop has been completely rerouted thanks to the Forest service and SERA trail volunteers. You can now trot/canter the entire loop and as an added bonus, cross several bridges built and funded by SERA. Also the dreaded 17 mile blue loop has been shortend and rerouted to eliminate the B.O.G. and the long, steep climb out. The ride will be a 2 loop 30 and a 4 loop 60 with an added 14 mile fun ride thrown in. All vet checks in camp, Water for horses not people, camping with hookups but not horses available nearby. Catered BBQ dinner Saturday night, extra fee, call or register early to reserve. Parking should be much better as the trail club that showed up last year and squeezed us out were in attendance this past weekend. Don't forget the live band Saturday night featuring Tom Crain and friends.
Its Halloween weekend, bring a costume to wear Friday.
