[RC] Owyhee Canyonlands webcam - John Teeter

The ride starts Tuesday (well there were a few that thought it started tomorrow:). A bunch of Canadians showed up early along with folks from cold Montana and wet Oregon. The final permissions have been obtained to follow the old Oregon trail down through the Neuhus ranch - a beautful 3 mile stretch down by the river. (recently renamed Siera Del Rio by new owners after the passing of Tom, the last of the Neuhus family:(

Trail is now all marked, the first happy hour is happening on the deck. maybe 20 horses in camp so far (and as many dogs - we're trying out a new $50 leash law to keep the morning pack under control). Whoever catches the wayward dog keeps the $50;)

It will be hot Tuesday - 85df. cooling down later in the week. Should be a stress for those ponies with their winter coat starting.
