Re: [RC] Points of View - sharp pennyVery nice post and one I feel reflects what most of the *new to endurance* people feel. I tend to think the majority of newbies do have alot of horse experience and are turning to endurance from successful other horse related venues...ie showing, eventing, hunter trials ect. Mainly because we see endurance as fun, being able to ride trails normal trailriders don't have access to, less expensive, not as political, less silly rules and there are all levels of accomplishment; most of them have nothing what so ever to do with winning a race.
