The horse was on medications and IV's and barely pulled through. So it had to be overriding, or endurance-related, you say? The horse never left camp! It coliced before it was ever saddled up. Yeah, I wonder why it is that stuff happens at rides that also happens day in and day out in normal veterinary practice, to horses that would never in a million years even come CLOSE to an endurance ride, to be treated by vets who have never come within spitting distance of the sport either. Darn, I wonder how THOSE illnesses and deaths can be related to the sport...
