[RC] More Data Needed - Lydia Cassilly

I think that AERC is on the right track, and that collection of more and better data is necessary before we can draw conclusions to base changes. Can anyone say that another fifty or another hundred would have helped Darolyn? Are FEI competitors so inexperienced that mileage prerequisites will be meaningful? Action without adequate info IS losing our freedom. I will acknowledge the pressure you may feel from PC groups, but WE WILL do the best for our horses that we are able, and each of us as riders are the ultimate judge. WE each and alone must take that responsibility. Data on horse death is necessary first, if you want to make fundamental changes in rules. We need more and with better detail. Patience will reward us here , IMO. Go Stagg, Go Truman and Go Welfare Committee. L
