Hi Annie: There is as a part of Windows XP a program called "Program
Compatibility Wizard" it may allow you to install your "Legacy
applications" (old apps.) this application can be found in the accessories
section in Programs that is in the list when you click on the START
button.
If you need to remove a program from XP go to the Setting button also
available from the START button and click on Control Panel,. The third
selection in the window that display's should be the add remove programs, click
on it and see if the CD creator is listed, if it is highlight CD creator and
then click on REMOVE. that should uninstall that application. If this doesn't
work you may need additional help, if you are not Computer Savy, I hesitate to
give you further directions, try this first.
I just got upgraded to
Windows XP. I tried to install my Easy CD Creator. It says that it is not
compatible with XP and will not go ahead and install. I tried to get it to go
away, but it is not on the list pf programs or in the install/ uninstall place
in my comp. IT is there but it is not there. Every time I boot up all these
warning windows pop up and keeps telling me it in incompatible but I cant
figure out how to get rid of it. Does anyone know how to get a 1/2 installed
program out of Windows XP? Thanks Annie G.
