[RC] Multi-day rides in the East - rides2farWe have several two day rides and even on those the second day is not that well attended as the first. I notice a lot of people who go to multi-days seem to have more than one horse in training. I can see where that would make a difference. Right now I can hit all the rides I can afford with one horse...but if I did a multi-day I'd miss a couple of more good rides while he recovered. If there was a back up (and a sugar daddy) involved, that might make a difference. You could take turns with them at the multi-day, have a backup if one got pulled, or have another to ride the week after. When Steph was out here she said she enjoyed the aspect of "going somewhere" on a multi-day. I think that might be cool, but I have no urge to do 250 miles worth of loops around the same basecamp.
