brings to mind the counter example - that of Suzie Hayes and Tezero'sGold (and before that kooter) of the US Team.

Not that I'd imply (too directly:) that Suzie is a counter example to "..is herself thin, very fit ..." or that Tezero isn't the epitamy (sp?) of the non-arab endurance horse - but they are pretty savey:)

It takes all types (and all types can be at the top!!:)
