Re: [RC] Most Coveted Award - rides2farI really think all these awards things are a distraction to the heart of endurance. You know John, just before I read your post I had this thought. Forget the "toughest" or "most prestigious" rides.... I'd like for people to tell me what rides I shouldn't miss if I want to experience the beauty of the sport. One of the greatest things about this sport is that you can go to a place where you've never been and without spending a lot of time researching the area and figuring out their trails you can experience a trail laid out to give you a great experience, whether it's footing or scenery they're fixing you up with. Along with that you get a campground full of friends and vets and good people on call in the event anything might go wrong. What could be a better way to see the country's trails? My husband has been planning how to retire at 55 his whole life and says he has it covered. I am a teacher and off summers. I figure in 12 years we're going to be hitting the road. Where should I go? (Idaho is already on the list by the way. :-) Angie ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
