Re: [RC] would you pay to have your horse's sheath cleaned? - Gabi (Ra'anana Farm)Dear Amanda, I like people like you that do not ask for donations nor hand-outs and take action themselves to get some money. I myself started with nothing then a pony, selling ponyrides to children of the neigbhourhood, and it grew to be a 21 horse riding school, I am still strugling, but slowly getting there. Who knows you find this way the hole in the market, just to give you some ideas.... boot/shoe polishing....(it works in turkey), selling a drawing of the horse(does need artistic talent, but you might be able to work from a frame and just fill in the horses color and change a bit here and there to its shape. Background and all can be prepared by someone else beforehand. Maybe you can try to sell something tasty to eat, snacks.., maybe you can set up a little tent/screen, and sell a back/head/foot massage..., maybe you can try sell some cute trinklets like a horsebit keychain, or horse motiv spare wheel cover... Maybe you get a little portable fence, some pets, wet tissues, and offer petting zoo, baby-sit service for the visitors kids. Maybe some company gives you commision if you promote and sell their product, i know of an israeli company that is looking for representatives and salesmen abroad to sell a machine that works with electricity, infra-red and magnets, to quick heal wounds as well on horses as on humans. Good luck to you. Gabi =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
