Re: [RC] Natural balance shoes cost? - David & Maggie
Just as a matter of information, it costs
me in northern CA $90 a horse for a regular shoeing with St.
Croix Eventers (iron shoes). That's among the least expensive there
is.
I love my farrier, I love my farrier, I love
my farrier.....
The last time he was here, he put a
specially made shoe on Jazzy's clubfoot, a wedge pad on her normal foot, trimmed
both rears, then shod Secret, Foxy, and Kasey in the front. It cost $99 for all
that. And he came on time. And the very best part.....Jazzy finished 25 miles
grade 1. She has in the past been grade 2 at best. She started grade 1 because
of the lopsidedness of her clubfoot. Thanks Rob Waller!
