Re: [RC] costs: Boarding & shoeing - Stephanie E Caldwell
I'm in North Carolina, about 30 minutes away from
Charlotte. I pay $100 for an 18 stall barn and pasture, I figure it costs me
about $160 each month by the time I buy feed ($30) and shavings ($30 for bagged,
or $30 in gas to go get them at the saw mill). Costs me $20 for a trim $35 for
setting shoes, my shoes cost $32.00 for all 4. I have miles of trail outside my
barn door, but I do have to take care of Star on my own.
BTW, if anyone ever needs a layover near Charlotte
I've got plenty of stalls and some pasture space.
