Re: [RC] mini-crash or not? - sandy . l . holderMy boy likes to roll, always has. . . all I have to do is turn him out in the arena and in less than 2 minutes he's found the "perfect spot", particularly after I've washed him (he's a grey). Took him to Barney Fleming's ulcer clinic - thought if there's "a horse" that would have them, it would be him (scared of the scales). . . . no sign of them or any kind of 'look' of previous ulcers, and Barney took his time to figure that out. He rolls in the middle of the night before and after the ride - I sleep in a tent right next to him so it wakes me up. He knows I watch him too. You should see him prance around and shake his head sometimes. Even though he always seems fine, I keep a close eye on him. I've seen horses colic (one we didn't think would make it). . . and first thing that horse wanted to do was roll. Don't think I'll ever take it for granted that it's no big deal . . .
