RE: [RC] Ten year horses - David LeBlanc-----Original Message----- From: ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Truman Prevatt Sent: Wednesday, October 01, 2003 4:45 PM To: Susie Jones Cc: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Lots of people say their horses love the trail - I always get suspious. I think it depends on which part of the trail <g>. The first couple of loops, or the last one. My horse had an injury and ended up being worked in an arena for months on end (horsy physical therapy). He may or may not like trail, but he definitely doesn't like the arena. No point to it. You get to one end, and go back. Put the same horse on a trail, now there's purpose to life. First endurance ride we went to after that, he was one happy guy. We've got a way to go to get to 10 years - this is the 6th season... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
