[RC] Chamberlain Creek ride - lost crew bag (green hay bag). - Lucy TrumbullProvo and me did our first 50 since '99 this weekend and had a blast - story to follow when I get done with it. I sent a crew bag out to the vet check and I know it was picked up, because the crew-bag-retrieval guy took it while I was still there - but when I finished, it was no-where to be seen back at camp, despite RM Marianne very kindly helping me search for it. So, please, anyone who went to this ride, please check your stuff. I'm guessing someone's crew picked it up in error, thinking it belonged to their rider, as I'd foolishly not marked it with my name. Description: Hunter green, cordura hay bag (the type where you stuff the hay in the top and it has a round hole in one side). Silver double-ended snap holding it closed. Containing: grass hay 4 water bottles ziploc with 2 empty e-lyte syringes ziploc of dry shredded beetpulp empty bag of carrots ziploc with the remains of my lunch (red vines, potato chips, cranberries, goldfish crackers) I'd really like to get it back (although, maybe not the remains of my lunch <g>). It may not sound like much, but my husband's getting ready to do his first LD, so very soon we'll need two of everything. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Lucy Chaplin Trumbull elsie AT foothill DOT net Repotted english person in Sierra Foothills, California * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
