How many horses really run higher pulses? I own a non Arab as does my neighbor, niether of our horses have high recovery times on training rides. We'll never know about competition, but on training rides my non-arab (Mustang) will recover much quicker than my friend's Arabs. So, realistically how many horses would be affected by lowering the pulse?
