I've read the books and seen him in person. He was
a very down to earth guy who took a very high strung and full of himself horse
and had him on the road to behaving nicely in the course of an hour and all this
without doing anymore than body and voice commands stroking him for a reward. I
was very impressed by him. Another "horse guru" to look into is Clinton
Anderson. I saw and met him in person as well. Very nice fellow if you ever get
a chance to meet him.
Hi there, I got the book for christmas and read it all within a few nights.
It was really good to hear others womans stories, about there love and
obsession around horses. But didnt really get much from ponyboys comments.
Basic stuff, about horsemanship it seemed. My over all sense, was how can a
guy make a lot of money off of horses? Stroke the woman's horse lovers ego,
buy saying all the things a woman wants to hear about themsleves and their
horses, and there great speical ways with them.

>Hello, some friends just turned me on to this book and videos
of a 34 yo native american named GaWaNi Pony Boy. i've got the book and just
started reading it and it has beautiful photos and its called... Horse Follow
Closely-Native American Horsemanship. And when i finish this i get to bring
home a video and finish watching what i only had the time to see the first
parts of the first tape....but i loved it. Its so basic and easily
understandable. I mean i never heard of this guy but he has a Breyer Horse and
been arround for a few years and starting a Foundation in St. Augustine, Fla.
Anyone who wants to check out Pony Boy can go to www.ponyboy.com . And i would
really like to hear from anyone who has gone thru the training on the video or
knows anything about the practice. tom sites
