Re: [RC] attitude - Carolyn Loedeman

Jeanie,
You are right on! Been doing this sport for 22 years( and have known you
for that long too) and if you do not like being on a horse for long long
time, then this is not the sport for you. And sure do love riding and
better yet riding with friends like Jeanie and laughing, laughing, laughing
down the trail!! And of course with Jeanie you get songs too! Love them!
Carolyn Loedeman
Good old days? Yes we had some great times in the good old days, 70s,
80s,
and even the early 90s. BUT riding in competition is what one makes of
it.
I still have fun and I still love doing distance riding whether it is
endurance, LD, or competitive. Sure I like to win, but I like to complete
more with a sound horse and a sound rider. And, one of my priorities is
to
have fun. If I can't have fun, then it isn't worth doing it. That is why
I
enter this sport 30 some years ago. I had fun doing it. I still have
fun,
Jinnifer can tell you that. If one can't have fun riding with me, go ride
by yourself. Jeanie
